Post COVID the demand on many materials has increased a lot due to reduced production capacity during the pandemic. Manufacturers of certain materials are still catching up with the demand. To prevent our products being out of stock and disappointing our consumers, we sometimes have to produce with different available materials. In this specific case there has been a shortage in the material we use to produce the paper labels on the pots, so we need to print directly on the pot for a temporary period until the supply of this material resumes.

Some pots you may find on the market at the moment have a different look to normal.
But this is a temporary change and we plan to go back to the usual cups as soon as possible.
Due to production schedules and volumes we had to choose a few flavours to have the temporary pot,
which is why some flavours are in the normal pot and some are in the new one.

We would love to hear about your new flavour ideas.

Protein-packed yogurt

Skyr yogurt is an Icelandic-style yogurt that is thicker because it contains higher protein content than Greek style yogurt.
Our L&F protein-packed yogurt is higher in protein than our Greek style yogurt range.

Aside from its smooth and thick texture, skyr yogurt is high in protein.
Our Light* & Free protein-packed yogurts contain 14g of protein to help maintain and grow muscle mass.

Our protein-packed yogurts contain 14g of protein per pot to ensure you get protein,
as part of a varied and balanced diet.

Yes, our Light* & Free skyr yogurts are vegetarian.

Traditionally, skyr is made with low fat milk fermented with bacteria,
such as Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus as a basis alone or in association with other cultures.
The skyr is then strained through fabric to remove the whey which allow to have a high quantity of protein and bring this incredible texture.

Today the main elements of traditional Skyr remain in modern Skyr which is a high protein,
low-fat product made with low fat mik. Plain skyr is roughly between 10 to 12% protein, 3 to 5% carbohydrate, and 0.5% fat.

Our Light* and Free recipe was developed
thanks to the knowledge accrued from a decade of home skyr making.

but we can’t guarantee that the texture will be the same.
